This is the place to consider your options when creating a website. I offer
a wide range of skills, so you can pick and choose what you want help with!
Complete Control, Unlimited Assistance
Most web companies lie within one of these extremes. Either they do everything
for you, and you lose all control over this aspect of your business, or they
provide bare minimum assistance, and leave you to work out the technical stuff
you thought you were paying for yourself!
This is clearly ridiculous! With Red-Webs, you can do as much or as little of
the technical stuff as you like. I can sort out domain names, hosting, FTP
access and updating methods for you, or you can do various parts yourself.
The important part is that from the very start of the process to the very end,
you will have as much or as little of my assistance as you desire, for no extra cost.
Logo Design
Haven't already got a brand or logo? Let me help you develop an effective and
memorable logo, that will stick in people's heads. You can place it on letters,
invoices, E-Mails, and most of all your website!
Or maybe you've already got a logo that you love? Incorporate it seamlessly into
your website with some simple design tips that make all the difference.
Website Design
Let me develop an exciting design with you, that will impress your visitors. A
look and feel is only the beginning, without the proper information a website
can't work, but a bad design can turn away your visitors before they ever see
any of the content!
If you've got a design that looks professional but not impersonal, attractive
but not distracting, and personalised to you, then your website is off to a
great start! I can help you to develop just that.
Website Creation
This is the fundamental service I offer. You don't have to know a thing about
making web pages, HTML, web space or domain names. I will do all the web page
creation for you, (providing that's what you want!).
First we will layout a site map for you. This is a quick paper based layout
of your website's structure, detailing what pages your website will have.
After this you'll know what content you have to write. After all, you know your
business, you know what you want to say to your visitors. I can guide you here,
but some of the content you'll have to write yourself. After that I'll create
your website.
PHP / HTML Advanced Pages
Need some more advanced functionality? I have experience in PHP, the web
programming language. If you need a database, a user login system, a message
board, a password protected area, or some kind of online tool or calculator,
just ask!
Maybe all you've got is an idea? You don't even know whether its possible, let
alone how to do it. Don't let that stop you from asking! Chances are, I can
create a way to make your request happen. I've been programming in various
languages for over a decade, and I've never been beaten yet!
Going 'Live'
Once you've got a website, you need to make it accessible to the whole world by
actually putting it on the internet! I will handle the entire setup operation,
and get your website where it needs to be.
We can also setup a dedicated E-Mail address for your website if you'd like, so
that you can deal with all your website communications separately if you'd like.
Website Submission and Marketing
After the website is up and running, I can help you by going through several
follow up techniques for you. These can increase the business value of your
website, and raise your return on investment.
These techniques can include submission to search engines, so people can find
you at the major engines. I can also show you how to improve your rankings at
these engines.
More importantly, I can find directories specific to your area, so that people
in your line of work, or involved in similar projects, can find you easily. This
will bring people to your website which are already interested in that area. It's
these people who are most likely to respond to your website in the way you want.
VB Programs
In the long time I've been programming, I've specialised in Microsoft Visual Basic
programs. If you require any other office utilities, or custom programs, then chances
are I can build it for you.
If you have a brilliant idea for a program that visitors to your website would love,
but no way to get it made, think about this possibility! You could then sell it on, or
give it away free if you want to be really popular with your website visitors! A free
utility is a great way to get excellent word-of-mouth advertising for your website.
Again, the advice here is 'don't be afraid to ask'! I wont build anything for you if
I don't consider it worth your while, so why not explore some of those wild ideas!
